The Cura1 iBeam is a motion detection sensor designed to assist caregivers in monitoring individuals, particularly those who are frail, elderly, or have dementia.

The iBeam features an extremely narrow detection beam, allowing precise positioning to monitor specific areas such as beds, chairs, or doorways.
Equipped with an integrated speaker, the iBeam can function as a standalone audible alarm, eliminating the need for an external receiver.
A dedicated button allows caregivers to pause detection temporarily or reset the alarm, providing flexibility during caregiving activities.
A front status LED illuminates when the iBeam is transmitting a signal, aiding in setup and testing.
The iBeam automatically pauses detection for 10 seconds after being switched on, giving caregivers time to exit the detection zone if necessary.
The device can be powered by batteries and/or mains power, offering versatility in different environments.
The iBeam can be used free-standing on a bedside table or floor, or fixed in position with included mounting adhesive pads and screws. An optional EzyStand provides a sturdy, height-adjustable base.
